Who We Are

This is a group journal where character development between campaigns is logged. Those of us who gather at The Lazy Ettin Inn are veteran players of a myriad of Role Playing Games. At this time we are playing Dungeons and Dragions 5e (Fifth Edition) from level one through a series of side stories and campaign; some published by Wizards of the Coast, some original and who knows you may just find that Easter Egg that is test content still in that Alpha or Beta phase prior to publication.

We have a lot of fun and want to share some of it with other people.

The Lady (Piper) - Plays Oliver TurnKey who is a Noble High Elf Knight with a mysterious back story. He believes in the power of a true name, and as such has translated his own name into common.

Amber - Plays Nova, a Tiefling Bard who is vague about her past, has an irresistible cutting wit and is searching for a good story.

Jeremy - Plays Kristoff, a Half-Elf Wizard.

Nicole - Plays Amastacia, a Noble Drow Ranger learning about what fate awaits her away from the Underdark.

Troy - Plays Seldo, a Half-Elf Cleric of Death. (Deceased). Plays Gidwin a Dwarven Cleric with a passionate nature and thirsts to avenge his fallen friends.

Lily - Plays Katanalia, a Dragon-born adolescent girl, who valiantly tries to hide her identity.

Jon - The GM will write from the NPC or Antagonists point of view.

Links that might make it easier to follow along:

D&D 5e Player's Handbook - Exactly what it sounds like, the book that teaches you how the game is played. though I do suggest that you buy the hardback and don't do everything using the digital documents.

OrcPub - This is by far the best FREE character builder that I have found online it is a life saver for those of us with poor handwriting. Go there, click around you'll love it.

The Curse of Strahd - Part One of our adventure follows the course of this story.

The Tel'Quessir Translator - This is an attempt to make an online translator for Tel'Quessir, the language of the elves in Dungeons & Dragons. While an incomplete reference a good translator if you can be creative with your vocabulary.

The Quenya Translator - This is the language of High Elves following their exile in Tolkien's Middle-Earth. A close cousin, to the Elvin language used in Dungeons & Dragons.

Above all please remember the Golden Rule of RPG's... There are no Rules, the GM is GOD.
